Lynn stirs a box of Jell-O into thick yogurt to make a fluffy, mousse-like dessert that carries real protein instead of just sugar. She makes the strawberry version, spoons it into jars and containers you could send to work or school, and heads out to cut lettuce and gather eggs while it sets up in the fridge.

What Lynn shows you

  • Three ingredients, and she is counting the water: a box of Jell-O, one cup of water, about two cups of thick yogurt. She says any flavor works, and regular Jell-O is fine if you are not after the sugar-free version.
  • The water goes in the microwave around 40 seconds - "you don't want it too hot, you just need it warm enough to dissolve your Jell-O."
  • After the Jell-O dissolves she lets the mixture sit about 30 minutes, down to nearly room temperature, before the yogurt goes in, because the heat would kill the good enzymes in the yogurt.
  • She whisks it until the lumps break up, then refrigerates it 2 to 3 hours for the mousse texture.
  • The Cool Whip and cut strawberries on top are optional - she says outright she added them so it would look pretty for the video.
